Welcome to Corktown Mews!
Last weekend, a very proud Fieldgate Homes team opened Corktown Mews to the public. We can officially announce that our first downtown Toronto project is open.
Corktown Mews is one of the few townhouse developments in downtown Toronto with thirty-seven individually metered units, each including a garage.
We caught up with director of sales and marketing Jim Andrews who shared his enthusiasm for the project:
“Queen Street East is very much up-and-coming. Many from across the city recognize this, and we’re just so happy that we can be part of its growth.”
Corktown Mews is built on brownfield lands which are previously underused or vacant industrial or commercial areas. They’re great for community development, sustainability and the environment; in this case, the land is perfect for new homes.
Corktown Mews hopes to capitalize on an area – Queen Street East – that is undergoing huge re-development.
“[We're] in one of the best areas of the city. With the Regent Park re-development well underway…we really feel that what is a good area now, is going to be a great area in the future.”
One of the best and most unique things about Corktown Mews is the flexible living floor plan. There are three interchangeable versions of a main living room floor. For example, you decide whether your kitchen is placed at the back of the house, or at the front. Home owners can convert two master bedroom suites into four bedrooms, and vice versa.
“It’s a very exciting time for us at Fieldgate Homes. Corktown Mews is our first downtown Toronto project and we’re delighted to bring it to market.”
We will be offering our final release of townhomes facing River Street this weekend. There will also be other townhomes priced from $597,990.
