A visit to Potter’s Bend community
We recently visited our Potter’s Bend development located in Markham and had a good look around the snow-covered site.
Potter’s Bend is located in Central Markham at the Northeast Corner of McCowan and 16th Avenue and close to many amenities. Within a 5-minute drive either east, west or south of the development you can find golf courses, malls, grocery stores, schools, libraries, and movie theatres as well as the Mount Joy and Centennial GO Stations.
This development is a low-mid density area without town homes, which means fewer cars and traffic congestion throughout the area. Potter’s Bend is home to a lot of young families who find benefit in the close proximity to Highway 407, which makes commuting to downtown Torontoas well as getting around the City of Markham, very convenient.
The Potter’s Bend community will be adding a third phase to the development that will include 35 homes. Construction starts in Spring of this year and is scheduled tofinish towards the end of the year. If some of the homes are completed ahead of schedule, Potter’s Bend will call every purchaser and give them the option of closing early. When there is a close on the home, a copy of the home-owner’s manual is given to the purchaser where it lists everything that is needed in a home.
Check back to the blog soon for more updates on Potter’s Bend including an interview with sales representative Margaret Mund who fills us in on the latest news on the development.
